The fort features a ship-building facility and was built for the Maratha Navy for defense purposes. Suvarnadurga is one of the most important forts in Konkan. It is situated on an 8-acre plot of land 250 meters from Harne's coast in the Dapoli Taluka. In a boat, you can get to the fort in 30 minutes from Harne harbor.

The stunning Panhalekaji caves are located in the Dapoli district's hilly ranges, 20 kilometres from the Dapoli-Dabhol road, near Nante village. There are 29 caves belonging to the Hinayan, Buddist, Ganpateya, and Nath sects that are located at the confluence of the Kotjai and Dhakti rivers and have preserved their natural beauty for many centuries. The construction and carving of these caves is thought to have begun in the second or third century and continued for many centuries.
The beautiful Shri Parshuram monument, the sixth avatar of God Vishnu, is located in the village of Burondi, near Ladagar beach in the Dapoli taluka. A massive Shri Parshuram Statue stands on a scenic hilltop, offering panoramic views of Tamstirtha red sea (Ladghar) beach. The setting is serene and surrounded by greenery.
Ladhgar beach is five and a half hours from Mumbai in the Maharashtra district of Dapoli. Ladghar is a short beach to the south of the rocky outcropping that separates it from Karde.
